Terms of Use

Terms of Use

Welcome to Dr Asiyah’s Clinic. These Terms of Use explain the rules for using our website and services. By accessing our website, booking an appointment, or using our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with these Terms of Use, please do not use our website or services.

1. About Dr Asiyah’s Clinic

Dr Asiyah’s Clinic provides private healthcare services, including online consultations, medical advice, prescriptions, referral letters, health assessments, and related services. Our website is intended to provide general information about our clinic and services. It should not be used as a replacement for urgent medical care, emergency services, or personalised medical advice without consultation.

2. Eligibility to Use Our Services

By using our services, you confirm that you are aged 18 or over, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, the information you provide is accurate and complete, and you are legally able to enter into agreements for private healthcare services. For children or dependants, a parent or guardian must arrange the appointment unless otherwise agreed.

3. Appointments and Bookings

Appointments can be booked through our website, by phone, or by email. We offer different consultation lengths depending on the service required.

Standard Consultation Times

Standard consultation times apply to all booked appointments. Where a consultation exceeds the allocated appointment time, additional time will be charged at £25 per additional 10 minutes. Any extra time charges will be discussed with you where possible.

4. Cancellations and Missed Appointments

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give at least 24 hours’ notice. Where less than 24 hours’ notice is given, or where an appointment is missed without notice, we may charge the full appointment fee. We reserve the right to waive charges in exceptional circumstances.

5. Payments and Fees

All consultation and service fees must be paid in full at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed. Payments may be made using approved payment methods. Refunds are generally not available for completed consultations or services, except where required by law or agreed in exceptional circumstances.

6. Prescriptions, Letters and Referrals

Prescriptions, medical letters, fit notes, and referral letters are issued only where clinically appropriate and at the discretion of the treating clinician. Booking a consultation does not guarantee that a prescription, certificate, or referral will be provided. Repeat prescriptions may require a review consultation.

7. Specialist Appointment Coordination

If you ask Dr Asiyah’s Clinic to arrange a private specialist appointment on your behalf, a Specialist Coordination Fee of £50 will apply. This service may include liaising with specialist clinics or hospitals, forwarding referral documents, assisting with appointment booking, and helping coordinate next steps. Any additional fees will always be discussed and agreed with you before proceeding.

8. Medical Advice and Patient Responsibility

Our clinicians provide advice based on the information you share during your consultation. You are responsible for providing accurate, honest, and complete information about your symptoms, medical history, medications, and circumstances. Dr Asiyah’s Clinic cannot accept responsibility for issues arising from incomplete, inaccurate, or withheld information.

9. Emergency and Urgent Care

Our services are not intended for medical emergencies. If you experience chest pain, difficulty breathing, signs of stroke, severe bleeding, suicidal thoughts, or any urgent medical emergency, call 999 or attend your nearest A&E department immediately.

10. Use of Our Website
